The anime’s story revolves around Nya-tan, the cat of Chinese astrology who wants to become a member of the Chinese zodiac. Nya-tan is simple and suffers from memory loss, and she tries various foolish ways to become a member. She meets Takeru Tendo, a high school student who lives alone in Akihabara, and becomes a freeloader at his house. Little by little, she gets closer to her goal.
Etotama is fun, then its gets cool and it left me speechless of how good it is.
The only reason i'm placing such a high rating on what looks like some
shallow fanservice like anime is that... for me - its not like that at all.
Most people complicate things on how anime must have "this or that" level of animation, sound, blah blah blah for it to be good.
My only basis is solely
"did this anime teach me something important and did it well?"
For me, Etotama delivered - it taught me how to have fun.

The Snow Queen covered the world in ice. Only Master Vegard stands in her way, whose mirrors reflect not only appearances but also souls. One day the polar wind takes away Vegard and his wife Una, but they hide their children Gerda and Kai. Years later, the Snow Queen's servile troll Orm (who can shapeshift into a black weasel) locates Kai, who is deemed Vegard's successor, at an orphanage. After a tangle between both siblings and Orm, Kai is abducted by the polar wind to the Snow Queen's palace. Gerda embarks on a journey with Orm and her pet white weasel Luta across the icy lands to rescue her brother.....

A Bug's Life
A Bug's Life (stylized as a bug's life) is a 1998 American computer-animated comedy adventure film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and was distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. Directed by John Lasseter and co-directed by Andrew Stanton, the film involves a misfit ant, Flik, that is looking for "tough warriors" to save his colony from greedy grasshoppers. Flik recruits a group of bugs that turn out to be an inept circus troupe. Randy Newman composed the music for the film, and stars the voices of Dave Foley, Kevin Spacey, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Hayden Panettiere, Phyllis Diller, Richard Kind, David Hyde Pierce, Joe Ranft, Denis Leary, Jonathan Harris, Madeline Kahn, Bonnie Hunt, Mike McShane and Brad Garrett.
The film is a retelling of Aesop's fable The Ant and the Grasshopper.[2] Production began shortly after the release of Toy Story in 1995. The screenplay was penned by Stanton and comedy writers Donald McEnery and Bob Shaw. The ants in the film were redesigned to be more appealing, and Pixar's animation unit employed new technical innovations in computer animation. During production, the filmmakers became embroiled in a public feud with DreamWorks Animation due to a similar film, Antz.
The film was released to theaters on November 25, 1998, and was a box office success, surpassing competition and grossing $363 million in receipts.[1] It received positive reviews from film critics, who commended the storyline and animation. The film has been released multiple times on home.

Tom and Jerry return to basics, chasing each other in an all-new series of hilarious cartoon shorts.
